Re: Brad Lamb PARDON
The Honorable George W. Bush
President of the United States
Dear Mr. President:
I am writing to ask you to pardon Mr. Brad Lamb, incarcerated in January, 2008 for 44 months in WVA Federal Prison leaving his family of 5 children (ages 4-14) and his wife Angela without their dad and husband and breadwinner.
He made a business mistake and was punished for pleading honestly to 'guilty'.
The judge wanted to give him a lighter sentence or probation but was prevented by current law mandating sentencing.
Brad is the only player ever drafted into the NFL from Anderson University and he played in Super Bowls 26, 27 and 28. He's never been in prison and should not be now except he had no money to repay missing escrow funds. Brad offered to repay these funds over time, but the prosecuting company refused any repayment, rather choosing to see Brad go to prison. Brad did not use missing escrow funds personally. It's a very sad set of circumstances.
Thank you for your attention in this matter. Your pardon would help correct misapplied sentencing guidelines.
Sincerely,

Anyone who wants to mail the letter to me can do so to our home address:
5940 Londonderry Court Concord, NC 28027 or if it is easier to email it to me, I am more than willing to print it out.
Words can not explain how much I would appreciate the assistance. I have had so many people asking what I need or what they can do to help me. This is it. I really want and need Brad back home with his family where he belongs! This is the only thing I know I can do. Thank you for everything. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thanks Again,
Angela Lamb
